With increasing emphasis on energy efficient building, modern methods of construction such as timber frame are being employed. The void within the timber frame provides space for high levels of insulation and allows a membrane to be fitted within the wall, reducing heat loss by increasing air tightness.
Timber framing has the additional benefit of substantially reducing construction time and not being weather dependent. This means that as soon as the frame is erected the doors, windows and roof cladding can be fitted, allowing the internal works to start in parallel with the brickwork or other external cladding.
Using the latest timber frame modelling software, we produce an engineered frame which is supplied to site to be erected either by the client or by one of our trained teams. All of our products come from sustainable forests, and are provided with a structural engineer’s certificate.
