| In 1984 Rock Aspha / lte commissioned consultants to carry out a series of extensive tests with various polymer modifications to conventional mastic asphalt. These tests proved that significant improvement was achieved in low temperature extensibility and flexibility in the new POMMAR material compared with conventional mastic asphalt whilst offering increased high temperature stability. The workability of the material is unchanged from that of normal mastic asphalt with which it is completely compatible. |
