Kingspan Access Floors has won accreditation under ISO 14001: 1996 Environmental Management. The certification includes both manufacture and installation, covering Kingspan’s state-of-the-art factory at Hull and contract-managed installations using products from this plant. This is the latest in a series of environmental actions by Kingspan Access Floors. Electricity and particleboard used in manufacture is sourced exclusively from suppliers using only renewable resources: steel suppliers also endeavour to use 20 per cent recycled steel in manufacture.
