Colrug is a paver-laid, thin asphalt surfacing material for roads which are structurally sound but require a durable and economic treatment to restore surface texture and ride quality.
Colrug provides a uniform, even-textured finish for all classes of road from trunk roads to country lanes. Combined with Repave in-situ road recycling, Colrug can be laid at most times of year. Colas Ltd manage their operations to minimise the impact on the environment, achieving its first ISO 14001 registration in 2001 and are committed to completing its roll-out to all their sites in 2005.
